The Rocks Markets

Every Saturday and Sunday for almost 20 years, stalls have lined the northern end of George Street under The Rocks Markets famous canopy 'sails'.

Brimming with beautifully made crafts, art, homewares, jewellery, fashion, gifts and edible goodies and fresh food in one of the world's best locations, The Rocks Markets is a Sydney institution.

10am - 5pm Saturday and Sunday 

  • Playfair and George streets
  • Jack Mundey Place

Many stallholders have become a regular fixture at The Rocks Markets and wouldn't want to trade anywhere but the streets of Sydney's oldest suburb.

The weekend market is made up of  200 eclectic stalls showcasing  a huge range of ever-changing products including fashion and accessories by emerging designers, locally-produced homewares, linen and  beauty, photography, art, crafts and jewellery.

The  Rocks Foodies Market
10am - 4pm Friday

  • Jack Mundey Place (cnr Arglye and  George Streets)

On Fridays it's impossible not to follow your nose to the Foodies market where freshly prepared barbequed salmon and mouth-watering gozleme make an irresistible open-air lunch stop.

The foodies market is a favourite with locals who eat, wander, sample and shop for lunch, flowers, fresh produce, crusty bread, chocolate, gelato, olive oils, condiments and homewares.
