Tourism trade

Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority is a NSW Government agency that owns and manages Sydney's heritage and cultural precincts, The Rocks and Darling Harbour.

The Authority is proud to be a member of the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) and Business Events Sydney, and works in close partnership with Tourism New South Wales and Tourism Australia.

Darling Harbour
With its spectacular harbour setting, Darling Harbour offers a feast of dining venues, some of Sydney’s hottest night spots and coolest bars, great shopping, and the city’s top attractions.

Darling Harbour also offers an unbeatable range of hotels and apartments, fascinating museums and the beautiful Chinese Garden of Friendship - a calm oasis in the heart of the city.

Visit the Darling Harbour website for more information.

The Rocks
Framed by the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House, The Rocks is the birthplace of modern Sydney.

The Rocks is home to Australia’s most important heritage sites and is packed with accommodation options - from 5-star to heritage bed and breakfast - plus museums, galleries, charming restaurants and cafes, hearty pubs, beautiful parks and boutique shopping including The Rocks Markets.

Visit The Rocks website for more information.

Tour options
As an initiative of Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, Sydney Learning Adventures provides guided tours of both precincts for domestic and international education groups. These specialised tours include The Rocks Dreaming, Finding Your Feet in Sydney and Red and Gold: Making a Multicultural Australia.

Inbound rates and contracts are available to Inbound Tour Operators on request via email or phone (02) 9240 8552.
