The inaugural 213 nautical mile race will bring some of Australia 's best known grand prix ocean races to the start line off Nielsen Park in Sydney Harbour before the fleet heads to a laid mark near Crowdy Head on the NSW mid north coast then back to the finish line at Newcastle .
