FORT DENISON HERITAGE TOUR

Time: 12.15pm and 2.30pm (Sat 1 to Sun 9 March)

Location: Fort Denison, Sydney Harbour National Park

Join a half hour tour of Australia's only Martello Tower with a National Parks and Wildlife Service guide. Explore its fascinating history, enjoy a magnificent 360 degree view of Sydney and its harbour and join in as Fort Denison celebrates its 150th anniversary.

KIDS AFLOAT - FREE

Time: 10am – 3.30pm (departs every 30 minutes for a 75-minute cruise) Saturday 8 March
Cost: FREE for all children plus one parent or guardian if associated with a charity; $5 for all other adults
Location: Departs from King Street Wharves 8 & 9, King Street Wharf

Support Sydney kids by taking a child on a FREE Sydney Harbour cruise. The majority of the money raised will be shared between nine major children’s charities: The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Variety the Children’s Charity, Friends of STARTTS, Mayumari, Telstra Child Flight, Royal Fare West Childrens’ Health Scheme, Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick and Wesley Mission.

All children must travel with an adult.

Additional information: Vessels will depart every 30 minutes for a 75 minute cruise.

OPEN DAY AT THE FORMER MARINE BIOLOGICAL STATION - FREE

Join us for a rare opportunity to learn about the charming colonial cottage at Camp Cove. The cottage was built in 1881 for Russian scientist, Nikolai Miklouho-Maclay and was the site of the first scientific studies of Sydney's marine environment. The fully restored private home has a beautiful vantage point and is only open a few times a year.
