KIDS AFLOAT - FREE

Time: 10am – 4pm (departs every 30 mins for a 75 minute cruise)
Cost: Kids Free, accompanying adults $5 each
Location: Departs from King Street Wharves 7 & 8, King Street Wharf

Support Sydney’s kids by taking a child on a FREE Sydney Harbour cruise. A percentage of the money raised will be shared between 9 major children’s charities: The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, CanTeen, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Variety the Children’s Charity, STARTTS, Mayumari, Telstra Child Flight, Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick and Wesley Mission.

Additional information: Vessels will depart every 30 minutes for a 75 minute cruise. All children must travel with an adult.

GUIDED SNORKEL AT CHOWDER BAY

Time: 1pm (Sun 4 & Sat 10 March)
Cost: $35 (includes equipment)
Location: Chowder Bay, Mosman

Learn about the habitats and lives of Sydney Harbour's marine creatures. We begin the adventure with a briefing on what type marine life is found in Sydney Harbour and then go in search of resident sea horses, octopus, rays and others, with our experienced instructors.

THE WOODEN BOAT ASSOCIATION RAFT-UP - FREE

Time: 9am – 5pm (Sat 10 & Sun 11 March)

Location: Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour

Come down to Cockle Bay to experience a traditional wooden boat raft-up. See a vast array of gleaming classic yachts, speedsters, dinghies, skiffs, putt-putts and canoes. With a steady turn-over of classic and well-loved vessels in the marina, you never know who you may run into!

DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING

Time: 10am, 11.30am, 1pm, 2.30pm, 4pm (Sat 3 & Sat 10 March)

NORTH FORT GUIDED TOUR

Location: Corner North Fort Road and North Head Scenic Drive, Manly

A tour of North Fort comprising 9.3 inch guns, encampments, underground tunnels and the National Artillery Museum. A special feature of North Fort is the defence of Sydney Harbour with a display of the Japanese midget submarine attack on Sydney Harbour in World War 2. Enjoy unsurpassed views of the Harbour from North Fort and stroll along Australia's memorial walk which honours all those who served in the defence of Australia in peace or war. Our tour features the defence of Sydney Harbour from colonial days to WW2.

ROSEHILL GARDENS BOAT SHOW

Time: 12pm - 8pm (Fri 9 & Sat 10 March), 9am - 5pm (Sun 11 March)
Cost: $10 Adults, $5 Children 16 years or younger (under 5 free), $25 Family of 2 Adults and up to 3 Children, $8 for Seniors cardholders and Aged Pensioners. FREE PARKING
Location: Rosehill Gardens Event Centre, James Ruse Drive, Rosehill

The Rosehill Gardens Boat Show has a long history in Sydney as the show that has plenty to see for Trailer Boat enthusiasts and novices alike. The show has a great array of vessels on display from fishing boats and fishing gear, ski and wake boats, family cruisers, personal watercraft and other bits n pieces for fun on the water. You can learn a few fishing tricks at the Yamaha Supertank with the world famous performing fish, get information from the volunteer groups and NSW Maritime. Boat licence testing will be available on site.

QUARANTINE STATION COMMUNITY OPEN DAY

Time: 10am – 4pm
Cost: FREE
Location: North Head Scenic Drive, North Head, Manly

Come along to the historic Quarantine Station and for a unique opportunity to see the conservation works that are taking place and meet the people behind the project. With the works now well underway, this is a chance to see how Mawland is improving public access, creating new experiences and restoring buildings which have suffered from years of neglect. Throughout the day there will be a number of interactive activities including project displays, chat sessions, photo exhibition, book launch, as well as conservation and reconstruction tours of the site. Refreshments and Barbeque provided!
