HARBOUR SNORKELLING DISCOVERY TOUR - PARSLEY BAY

Time: 9.30am - 12.30pm
Cost: $30 adult, $25 child
Location: Parsley Bay, Vaucluse

Explore the underwater wonders of Sydney's famous harbour with experienced Marine Biologist snorkelling instructors from the Marine Discovery Centre. Meet and learn about some of our colourful locals - cuttlefish, seastars and of course, the ever-friendly Blue Groper - official State fish of NSW. This is a fun day for all the family!

2006 CLASSIC & WOODEN BOAT FESTIVAL

Time: 9.30am – 5.00pm Saturday and Sunday

Sydney's classic harbourside celebration of more than 100 boats, from graceful yachts to streamlined speedboats, is a marketplace of all things nautical and displays of maritime crafts.

LEICHHARDT ACTIVE FUN DAY

Time: 10.00am – 4.00pm
Cost: FREE
Location: King George Park, Manning St, Rozelle

This free community event encourages people to participate in healthy, active pursuits starting with a fishing clinic and competition at 8.00am on Sydney Harbour at Rozelle. Also features entertainment, live performances, rides for the kids, sports demonstrations, giveaways and food stalls and a free BBQ.

FULLY BOOKED! - SHARK ISLAND OPEN DAY (IN CONJUNCTION WITH MATILDA CRUISES)

SYDNEY 38 ONE DESIGN INTERNATIONS CUP

Cost: N/A – Spectator activity only. Participants enter through Middle Harbour Yacht Club.

The splendour of One Design yacht racing will be on display when local and international competitors compete in the Sydney 38 One Design Internations Cup. Some of the most highly skilled sailors will take to the starting line for this inaugural challenge which is expected to attract a fleet of more than 40 yachts.

NORTH FORT GUIDED TOUR

Time: 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm

A visit to North Fort is packed with defence artefacts and stories from colonial days to WWII. See its historic fortifications, the National Artillery Museum with its artillery weapons and a fascinating display on the WWII Japanese submarine attack.

THE CLASSIC FERRY & WORKBOAT CHALLENGE

Time: 12.30pm – 2.00pm
Cost: $10 adult, $5 child for onboard tickets, FREE for spectators
Location: Australian National Maritime Museum, with best views from Millers Point, Walsh Bay Wharves, Kirribilli, Fort Denison and Goat Island

Watch 40 classic ferries and workboats battle it out on Sydney Harbour. The race starts outside the Maritime Museum and, travels under the Harbour Bridge, around Fort Denison and back to Cockle Bay. Travel on board, charter your own ferry or watch the action from the foreshore.

NORTH SYDNEY CUP

Time: 1.00pm
Cost: Yacht entry is $40, FREE for spectators
Location: Blues Point, North Sydney

Competing yachts will sail within the harbour in this one-day regatta for yachts of all sizes and members of all clubs are invited to compete. The race starts off Kirribilli and finishes at Blues Point and includes individual and inter-club competitions. 
The best vantage points for spectators are: Kurraba Point for the start and Blues Point from approximately 3.00pm for the finish and Bradley's Head.
A presentation function will be held afterwards at the Sydney Flying Squadron, MacDougall Street, Kirribilli.

Discover the fascinating marine creatures of the harbour rockpools. A fun activity that will give you a greater appreciation of our harbour and the creatures that live in it!
