DEFENCE OF SYDNEY - NORTH HEAD FORTRESS GUIDED TOUR

Time: 10.30am – 2.30pm
Cost : $39 adult, $29 concession (includes lunch)
Location: North Head

Join the North Fort Artillery Museum, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services and the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust on a military discovery tour of North Head. You'll venture through tunnels and fortifications, explore the museum, see life through the eyes of a soldier and discover the myriad defence equipment that makes North Head so unique.

NORTH FORT GUIDED TOUR

Time: 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm
Cost: $11 adult, $5 child, $8 concession, $25 family
Location: Corner North Fort Rd and North Head Scenic Dr, Manly

A visit to North Fort is packed with defence artefacts and stories from colonial days to WWII. See its historic fortifications, the National Artillery Museum with its artillery weapons and a fascinating display on the WWII Japanese submarine attack.

HARBOUR STORYTIME & CRAFT AT WOOLLAHRA CHILDREN'S LIBRARY

Time: 3.30pm
Cost: FREE
Location: Blackburn Gardens, 548 New South Head Rd, Double Bay

Children and their parents are invited to come and listen to stories about Fergus and his adventures on Sydney Harbour (author: John Williamson-Noble). Storytime will be followed by harbour-themed craft activities. This is an opportunity for children to learn and think about what happens on the harbour and the importance of protecting it.
